Hi there! And WELCOME to my blog, Lost and Found – My Journey from Adoption to Reunion and Beyond! Please make yourself at home! Introduce yourself, read my posts, comment, and SHARE! This journey isn’t just mine. I am sharing it in hopes that it might help or inspire someone else.
I am 44 years old, and a mother to an amazingly talented teenage son. I am a wife, daughter, sister, and loyal friend. I was surrendered at birth and adopted. Thankfully, I have always known that I was adopted, and very proudly so! This is the only life I’ve ever known. That is, until very recently.
I made contact with my birth family just days ago. They were searching for me, and recently made contact with me! A new journey has begun! A crazy, overwhelming, loving, exciting, scary journey!!
I started this blog as a way to process and share this new journey. I would like this to be a meeting place for ALL adoptees, and I hope to grow this site into an online support group for all of those who have been impacted by adoption.
